Warranty

B2 Homes warrants to our homeowner a one-year limited warranty and offers the opportunity to purchase an extended ten year warranty. B2 Homes does require that our customer read and sign this form and return the completed form to Mr. Pat Nugent at the time you sign the Building Contract/Real Estate Sales Contract.


B2 Homes will, for a period of one year from the date of final "walk through" inspection or date of first occupancy (whichever comes first), make repairs which are necessary because of defects in materials or workmanship supplied by the Manufacturer.

We will repair or replace, at our option, any defective parts at no cost to you. Because of design changes and improvements, we may substitute parts or components of substantially equal quality.
This warranty covers you, as the first retail purchaser and first occupant of your new home, from an authorized Manufacturer of homes built by B2 Homes.

WHAT IS NOT COVERED

Furnace, water heater, radiant heaters, appliances, windows, lights, fans, faucets, smoke detectors, siding and range hood, forced air heating or cooling systems and similar components which are separately warranted by their manufacturers.

Materials supplied and work performed by B2 Homes and others.Damage such as that caused by misuse, abuse, alterations, lack of proper maintenance, improper repairs, or neglect in notifying us about necessary repairs or neglect in taking reasonable precautions (such as shutting off water when a leak is observed).

Normal deterioration, wear, and adjustments of fabrics and carpeting.Roofing shingles damaged by extraordinary winds, damage arising from high humidity, shading caused by the touch-up of paint, and reasonable variations in paint and stain colors and natural wood grain and roofing shingle color.

Following the repair of items noted on the Warranty Registration: minor adjustments of interior and exterior doors; broken or scratched glass; settlement cracks, nail pops, or wood shrinkage due to the settling and drying process of your home; chips, scratches, cracks and mars in woodwork, walls, mirrors, plumbing fixtures, appliances, countertops, doors, siding, windows, railing, stairs, light fixtures, exterior trim, floor covering, and cabinets.

HOW TO OBTAIN SERVICE

You must arrange access to the home for B2 Homes.

Step 1: The Manufacturer will arrange repairs of items covered by this warranty, which are identified on the Warranty Registration.

Step 2: When service throughout the remainder of warranty period is needed on your home, please contact B2 Homes. Do not contact the Manufacturer directly. B2 Homes will coordinate the proper customer service with the Manufacturer.

Step 3: If problems covered by this warranty have not been resolved within a reasonable time by B2 Homes, write to the Manufacturer. If this information was not provided to you, ask B2 Homes for it.

Step 4: In those cases where B2 Homes and the factory representative have not been able to resolve the problem, contact the vice-president of the Manufacturer and explain your problem. You will receive a response within five business days.

WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, such as expenses for transportation, lodging, loss or damage to personal property, loss of use of your home, inconvenience, or loss of income. Some states do not allow exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.

IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE TERM OF THIS WRITTEN WARRANTY.

Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights, which vary from state to state.
